Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Our 14-Day Return Window

You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. This complies with South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act (7-day minimum) and gives you extra time.

To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be in the same condition you received it
- Unworn or unused, with tags, in original packaging
- You must have your order number or proof of purchase

2. How to Start a Return

Email us at: kylenaidoo307@gmail.com with:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos or videos (for damaged or defective items)

We will respond within 2 business days with approval or additional instructions.

Important: Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

3. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or no longer want it, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We will provide our return address, and you arrange and pay for tracked shipping back to us.

If you are returning an item because it is defective, damaged, the wrong item was sent, or it does not match the description on our website, we will pay for the return shipping costs. We may also offer a refund without requiring a return for lower-value items (under R500) to make the process easier for you.

4. Defective Items & 6-Month Warranty (CPA Section 56)

Under South African consumer law, all products come with an implied warranty of quality for 6 months from delivery.

If your item becomes defective within 6 months:
- Contact us immediately
- We will arrange a refund, replacement, or repair (at our discretion based on product availability)
- We pay for return shipping

This does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

5. Damages, Wrong Items, or Description Mismatch

Inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If the item is damaged, defective, wrong, or doesn't match our website description:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos or videos and your order number
- We will make it right at no cost to you

6. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
- Custom or personalized products
- Personal care goods (beauty products, underwear, swimwear) for hygiene reasons
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Gift cards
- Sale items (unless defective)

If you're unsure about your item, email us before purchasing.

7. Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different item:
- Return your original item (following the process above)
- Once approved, place a separate order for the new item

We do not offer direct exchanges due to international sourcing.

8. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:
- We will notify you of approval or rejection within 5 business days
- If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days
- You will also receive R20 store credit as a thank-you (sent via discount coupon)

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven't received your refund, contact us at kylenaidoo307@gmail.com.

Note: Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

9. Delivery Times – Please Read

Because we source products internationally, delivery typically takes 10-12 days, unless the product is from a South African Supplier.

The 14-day return period begins from the delivery date, not the purchase date. We do not accept returns for shipping delays alone.
